School Resource Officer

The School Resource Officer (SRO) position is a partnership between the Georgetown Police Department and the Georgetown Independent School District. The SRO is responsible for the safety of the students, staff and visitors at the Georgetown High School. The duties of the SRO include: monitoring campus safety and security, serving as a law enforcement resource for the students and faculty, providing a safe learning environment, and enforcing criminal law violations.
