Issue Types - Trash & Debris
It is a violation of City Ordinance (8.20.080) to place, deposit, throw, or allow to be placed, deposited, or thrown any garbage, brush, loose waste, or refuse of any kind, on any public or private property outside of any building, unless deposited in accordance with the policies and procedures of Texas Disposal Systems.
Bulky Waste Disposal Options
Trash collection service to your residence/business does NOT include pick up of bulky waste at the curb or with your trash container. Bulky waste includes, but is not limited to: furniture, mattresses, refrigerators, air conditioners, washers, etc.
Bulky waste may be disposed of by:
- Transporting the bulky waste to the collection station. You are allowed to dispose, for no charge, two cubic yards per month. Just bring in your current utility bill and photo ID, or
- Call Texas Disposal Systems at 512/930-1715 and request a special pick up. There is a charge per cubic yard for this service. The charge is added to your utility bill.
Brush Disposal
Brush will be picked up at your curb/trash container IF the limbs are cut into 4-foot lengths and tied in bundles weighing no more than 35 pounds. You may have up to five (5) cubic yards of additional trash/brush picked up with your usual trash container.
Alternatively, you can take brush FREE of charge to the collection station. Just bring your current utility bill and photo ID.
